International Trade Law and Customs Regulations
International Trade Law and Customs Regulations are the Company’s priorities.
Our lawyers have extensive experience in the comprehensive support of transactions in the sphere of International Trade Law, which includes both the preparation and drafting of foreign trade contracts (purchase and sale (supply) of goods, conducting works and rendering of services, exchange of goods and/or services, transportation of cargo and passengers, trade representation and mediation, renting (leasing), scientific and technical exchanges, including the results of intellectual activity, construction of industrial and other facilities, transfer of intellectual property rights and know-how, concessions, agency agreements, investments, credit and settlement operations, insurance, franchise and licensing agreements, etc.), and consulting on many other issues arising in foreign trade activities, including strategic planning and risk assessment.
This sphere of activity includes:
- advising on the implementation of import-export transactions and customs regulation;
- representation of clients in customs bodies of Ukraine;
- verification of compliance of trade operations with international principles and regulations, including export controls and trade sanctions;
- analysis and advice on WTO issues, multi- and bi-lateral agreements, including the analysis of antitrust policies;
- antidumping and countervailing investigations, special investigations and judicial protection in commercial matters.
Taking into consideration the fact that in our practice we are often faced with contracts that are subject to foreign law, we call on our foreign partners to provide advice on legislation in other jurisdictions.
